Dr. Jack Levy is a Mohs micrographic & cosmetic facial surgeon. He joins Advanced Dermatology in its various Tri-State locations, including Manhattan, New Jersey, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens & Staten Island.
After a career in fine arts, Dr. Levy completed his premedical studies at Columbia University and earned his medical doctorate at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine and dermatology at Mount Sinai and Emory University Hospitals, respectively, with an emphasis on skin of color.
Dr. Levy received advanced fellowship training at Laser and Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey, one of the few dual-accredited fellowship programs in the nation specializing in both micrographic surgery (the gold standard treatment for skin cancers) and facial cosmetic, laser, and reconstructive surgery.
He is specially trained in surgical and noninvasive techniques for eyelid tightening and brow lifts, aesthetic rejuvenation, resurfacing, minimally invasive body contouring, and scar revision.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser, Medicine & Surgery.
He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and presents his research at national conferences. He enjoys teaching residents advanced surgical and cosmetic techniques. Dr. Levy combines his emphasis on aesthetics and communication with his world-class training to provide dermatologic oncology and laser and cosmetic surgery services.
