Jie is a board certified physician assistant with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies, which she received from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2011. She has since then been practicing both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Jie completed her bachelor’s degree in medicine in China, where she received intense medical training including clinical rotations. As one of a few successful graduates, she came to the U.S. and completed her first master’s degree in human nutrition at Kansas State University, where she was involved in a research program to study the connection between diet and skin cancer. Her research results were published in prestigious biochemical journals and they are still influencing the field. Being an active member of several professional organizations, she is well informed of new skin treatments that could benefit her patients. Beyond her office hours, Jie leads her own team — a dog and a cat to cultivate and prune her homegrown plants and flowers. In return, her team members are honorably rewarded with her professional skin care.
