About Aton M. Holzer
Aton M. Holzer, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon at Advanced Dermatology, P.C. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer treatment, and procedural dermatology, while also providing comprehensive care for a wide range of skin conditions.
Since 2015, Dr. Holzer has served as Director of the Mohs Unit in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center, one of Israel’s leading academic medical centers. Education
Dr. Holzer earned his bachelor’s degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University before receiving his medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he graduated with an MD with Honors in Research.
He completed his internship in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and went on to complete a Research Track Dermatology Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Following residency, Dr. Holzer completed a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, under the mentorship of Leonard H. Goldberg, MD.
