Dr. Carl Solowey is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed a rotating internship at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, followed by a two year Dermatology Matriculate at the New York University Post-Graduate Medical School, Skin & Cancer Unit, and a dermatology resident at Bellevue Hospital. He studied as a preceptee with the renowned Professor Dr. Maurice Costello. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the New York Academy of Medicine. He participated in published clinincal study of an oral antifungal treatment. He has extensive experience in medical dermatology and has been in private practice for many years.
