What to expect during and after your VI Peel®
Your VI Peel® treatment at Advanced Dermatology, P.C. begins with a thorough consultation and skin assessment. The peel is applied in-office by a medical professional and takes about 30 minutes. You’ll leave with the peel solution still on your skin, which you’ll wash off at home later that day.
Our team will provide clear aftercare instructions and a post-peel kit to support your results.
Downtime and recovery
Most patients notice mild redness and a “tight” feeling for the first day or two. Peeling usually begins on the third day and can last up to a week. It’s important not to pick or peel the skin manually and to avoid direct sun exposure. Many people can return to work or school right away, as the peeling is generally mild and manageable.
