Some skin conditions are not as they appear. One of them is mycosis fungoides, a common cancer that “imitates” various skin conditions, says Jennifer Wong, PA-C with Advanced Dermatology PC.
“You should start getting screened for skin cancer in your 20s or 30s,” says Denise Gallo, APRN, a board-certified nurse practitioner with SkinCare Physicians of Fairfield County, a division of Advanced Dermatology, PC.
“Liquid makeup can be as effective as regular SPF if you put enough on,” says dermatologist Cybele Fishman, MD.
