Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology to lift and tighten aging, sagging skin. The ultrasound energy passes through the skin and to the depleted collagen. The ultrasound of an Ultherapy treatment prompts the regrowth of collagen. All of this is done without cutting or otherwise disturbing the external layers of skin.

Our dermatologists have undergone extensive training in Ultherapy and have performed many treatments, with excellent results. In addition, we own our Ultherapy device, allowing us to have performed more treatments than practices that rent theirs. Some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling, or tingling after their Ultherapy treatment. Results may be noticeable immediately after treatment and are especially noticeable about 3 months post-treatment. One Ultherapy treatment is typically enough to rejuvenate the skin; however, additional treatments may be recommended, as Ultherapy does not slow down the natural aging process.
Your Ultherapy treatment will be performed in the safety and luxury of our state-of-the-art Briarcliff Manor dermatology office. You will remain awake throughout treatment. Once the skin on your treatment area(s) have been cleansed, the Ultherapy handpiece will be passed across those areas. Some patients may experience discomfort during treatment; however, we offer options to maximize patient comfort. Depending on your specific treatment areas, an Ultherapy treatment session can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. Thanks to its non-invasive nature, you will be able to resume work and other regular activities immediately after your Ultherapy treatment.
Some patients may see results immediately after their Ultherapy treatment. Most patients, however, will notice results over 2-3 months, as the collagen is restored and the skin is lifted. In some cases, it may take a full 6 months for your collagen to replenish.
