During your Liposonix consultation, your dermatologist will examine you and review your medical history. To determine your candidacy for Liposonix, your dermatologist will be checking that you are healthy, weigh close to your ideal weight, and have an inch of fat that can be pinched in the area to be treatment. If your area of concern can be treated with Liposonix, your treatment will be scheduled.

Your Liposonix treatment will be performed in the comfort of our Briarcliff Manor office. The treatment lasts roughly an hour, during which you will be awake. After the area to be treated has been marked with a surgical pen, the Liposonix device will be moved across the area. The intensity of the treatment may be adjustable, so notify your dermatologist if you are experiencing any discomfort. Thanks to its minimally-invasive nature, you will be able to return to work immediately after your Liposonix treatment.
