Dr. Fox is known nationwide as a leading authority in the field of dermatology, with an expertise in skin cancer, cosmetic surgery, and laser procedures. He is the founder and president of the New Age Skin Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and education. He has been an expert resource for the public interest on dermatologic topics for the major television networks, radio stations, and national newspapers and magazines.

Dr. Howard David Solomon, D.O, graduated from Long Island University and received his medical training at the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. After completing his degree, he was the chief resident of dermatology at Albany Medical Center. During his decades-long career, he has focused mainly on medical dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of seborrheic dermatitis, benign and cancerous skin lesions, and ringworm. In addition to treating skin conditions, he also performs cosmetic procedures such as laser treatments and skin-enhancing injectable treatments. Dr. Solomon currently serves patients of Forest Hills, Queens, and the surrounding area.

Mr. Byrne has been a Certified Physician Assistant at Advanced Dermatology and the Center for Laser & Cosmetic Surgery since 2004. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from New York University, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the New York Institute of Technology. Mr. Byrne also completed a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies with a concentration in dermatology from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He has completed clerkships in every major branch of medicine, including internal medicine, pediatrics and dermatology.

Pamela is a board-certified physician assistant at Advanced Dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from SUNY Albany. She then went on to complete her physician assistant education at South University in Savannah, Georgia.Prior to completing her physician assistant degree, Pamela worked in dermatology as a medical assistant where she developed a passion for the field. She currently works under the guidance of physicians providing care to a wide demographic of patients with a special focus on medical dermatology.

Melissa joined Advanced Dermatology in 1995 and worked as a Medical Assistant for many years. She completed the Physician Assistant Program at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and received her certification before returning to Advanced Dermatology as a Physician Assistant. During her studies at Weill Medical College, she performed clinical rotations in all major fields of medicine, working at various hospitals throughout the New York City region. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants.

Sydney Karp, MMS PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York. She graduated from Pace University Lenox-Hill Physician Assistant Program in downtown Manhattan and was honored to become a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. Sydney completed her training through clinical rotations among various private practice offices in NYC, as well as academic hospitals. Prior to receiving her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition. Sydney is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as serving on the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants. Sydney is a passionate and motivated clinician who truly believes that listening to a patient’s concerns is the most important part of her practice. Sydney has experience in treating a variety of dermatological medical conditions.

Lana Dhamija is a licensed, board-certified Physician Assistant. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Ramapo College of New Jersey and subsequently completed her Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant at Rutgers University. Lana has worked for several years in both dermatology and advanced wound care. Her expertise consists of identifying and treating skin cancer, acne, rosacea, rashes, dermatitis, warts, and various other skin conditions, as well as performing complete body exams. Her practice extends to both the adult and pediatric populations.
