Zhanat Colotti is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a focus in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
She is passionate about performing skin cancer screenings and educating patients on the importance of skin cancer prevention. Her expertise extends to treating a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and warts. Additionally, she performs a range of surgical and cosmetic procedures, such as skin biopsies, electrodesiccation and curettage of basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma, skin tag removal, abscess treatment, cyst excisions, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy, microneedling, chemical peels, laser treatments, Botox injections, and Dermal fillers.
With over 11 years of experience as a registered nurse in medical-surgical, step-down intensive care unit, and emergency department settings, and family nurse practitioner experience in primary care and urgent care, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to dermatology practice.
Zhanat earned her master’s degree in Nursing Education from Mercy College and a post-master certificate with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from Mount Saint Mary College. She has been recognized for her outstanding achievements with inductions into the Zeta Omega-at-Large Chapter and Mu Epsilon Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the Chamberlain University, Chicago with high distinction. Her doctorate project highlighted the importance of implementation of skin cancer screening and early detection in primary care.
In her free time, Zhanat enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys sketching and painting, learning dance and volunteering in local communities.
