Aza Lefkowitz, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon at Advanced Dermatology, P.C. His practice is primarily focused on Mohs micrographic surgery, procedural dermatology, and the treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Lefkowitz graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree.
While attending medical school, he received the prestigious Andrew T. Salzberg Award for Superior Achievement in Medical Studies.
He completed his internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center before pursuing a dermatology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. During his final year of residency, he was appointed Chief Resident in Dermatology.
Following residency, Dr. Lefkowitz completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at East Setauket University Hospital, an American College of Mohs Surgery-approved fellowship program.
