What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is a new non-invasive treatment option that utilizes ultrasound to tighten, tone and lift sagging skin on the face. Many call it the “non surgical facelift” or skin tightening.

Which areas does Ultherapy target?

Ultherapy can target many areas. The most popular are the brow, neck, jawline, chin and cheeks.

Can Ultherapy be performed instead of a surgical facelift?

While Ultherapy leaves patients with youthful-looking skin, its results cannot be compared to those of a surgical facelift, which is more aggressive.

How does Ultherapy work?

Ultherapy specifically targets the collagen-producing layer deep beneath the skin, the same layer that is targeted during a surgical facelift.

Am I a candidate for Ultherapy?

You may be a candidate for Ultherapy if you have loose skin on your eyebrows or eyelids but are not yet ready for facelift surgery.

How should I prepare for Ultherapy?

No special preparations are necessary before Ultherapy, although we will offer you several choices the lessen the discomfort of the procedure.

What happens during an Ultherapy session?

During an Ultherapy session, the skin on your face is cleansed and then the ultrasound handpiece is applied to your face.

Is Ultherapy painful?

Patients may experience some discomfort during Ultherapy, although we offer many ways to lessen the discomfort.

What happens after Ultherapy?

Temporary redness, swelling or tingling may occur after Ultherapy; however, these typically subside quickly.

How soon after Ultherapy will I see results?

Ultherapy may begin to produce noticeable results immediately, and most patients see results within 2-3 months.

How many Ultherapy treatments will I need?

One Ultherapy treatment is usually enough, although some patients may benefit from additional treatments.
